Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication and Event Management

The Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication and Event Project Management enables employees to support companies in their digital transition, both in terms of marketing strategy and communication action plans, including event management and press relations. At the end of the training, the young graduate will be able to deploy and evaluate marketing, communication and event management actions in all types of companies.

Holders of the Bac can apply for the first year of the Bachelor’s programme, holders of a Bac+1 for the second year and those with a Bac+2 for the third year. The Bachelor welcomes students from various backgrounds: BTS, RNCP level 5 qualifications, DUT, preparatory classes, Licence 2 or Licence 3.

This Bachelor’s degree trains students to understand the new challenges of customer behaviour, including in an international context, to understand the mechanisms of brand management and to know how to apply the fundamentals. This professionalization course allows you to become familiar with the development of a marketing plan, to adopt a relevant approach to operational marketing by combining objectives and budget management. This course teaches how to organize a marketing event and build a brand strategy through events.

The 3rd year program can be completed in alternating years. The real-life situations in companies will allow a rapid increase in skills and the use of the knowledge acquired during the courses.

All of our final year courses are specialised and professional, enabling students to be fully operational at the end of their training.

What are the courses of the Bachelor Marketing, Communication & Events ?

The courses listed below are examples only and may vary slightly depending on the campus. The content of the courses is adapted each year to market developments and is updated before the start of each new school year.

The 1st and 2nd year courses are available here.

The first year focuses on aspects of the world of communication, its market and its actors and explains, among other things, how companies operate. It presents the theories and the different techniques of internal and external communication.

The second year deepens the world of communication seen in the first year. Many other subjects are added and studied: management techniques, communication, advertising, multimedia and press relations, but also law, finance, sales, marketing and business strategies.

The third year focuses on business strategies, communication and marketing strategy. We also cover communication and operational marketing, digital marketing, institutional communication, politics and events.

Business game

The business game is played using a business simulator. Groups of students are responsible for running a business in real time. All major business functions are covered. Students will make decisions to maximize the profitability of the business.

This module allows you to appropriate the foundations of NLP in order to understand its interest, to easily create a relationship of trust with your client, to develop your sense of observation, to adapt your speech to the client’s sensory register, to refine the client’s expectations and needs thanks to the metamodel and to better understand the client’s behaviour thanks to the metaprograms, in the form of role plays.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSE

Marketing et communication événementielle

This module is an introduction to the tools and techniques to design an event from A to Z within a limited time and budget. It’s also about maintaining and building relationships and involving your company in media communications. Role of PR 2.0.

Relations presse, relations publiques et e-RP

At the end of this module, the trainee will be able to set up operations intended for a targeted public in order to create, maintain or even modify the company’s image with its stakeholders. Press relations will be particularly emphasized in order to convince journalists (from press releases to interviews).

Communication & Marketing digital

This module allows you to grasp the essential elements in order to move from theory to practice on all the major issues of digital marketing (social media strategy, SEO issues, crisis communication etc.).

Brand content & storytelling

Brand content and storytelling are nowadays essential levers to develop your brand. Business cases will be discussed and projects will be presented to test the concepts.

Design et charte graphique

This module allows you to discover tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for digital marketing. These tools help to improve the impact of campaigns conducted on the Internet and online social networks. They also allow to improve the graphic charter and the image of the company in general (logo, visual identity, editorial line at the visual level, etc).

Retailing mix 3.0

Pricing policy, communication policy, retailing and merchandising strategies are studied through the prism of digital and new consumer paths.

Stratégies publicitaires et nouveaux médias

Faced with the multiplication of contact points and the multitude of media supports, advertising strategies must always be more specialized and personalized. This module introduces these different strategies and new media and allows students to work on current cases.

Brand management

The methodology of the case study will be discussed and will be applied more specifically to brand marketing. Brand management and content creation will therefore be the main topics.


Admission to the Marketing, Communication & Events Bachelor’s program

1 or 2 entries per year and a rhythm of alternating studies

The start of the 3rd year of the Bachelor’s programme takes place in September. Some campuses also offer a staggered start in February.

The course rhythm is 3 days/2 days for 6 months and then 6 months full time in a company.

This rhythm is the same whether the learner is in initial training (internship) or in continuing education (professionalization/apprenticeship).

What are the prerequisites to enter the Bachelor program?

  • To enter the first year, you must hold a baccalaureate (all sections) or a Diplôme d’Accès aux Études Universitaires (DAEU), recognized as level 4;
  • For integration into the second year: it is necessary to have validated 60 ECTS in a sector considered to be identical in terms of competencies to that of the course or to have validated 120 ECTS in a management science environment;
  • For integration into the third year: it is necessary to have validated a 120 ECTS or a level 5 in a sector considered to be identical in terms of competencies to that of the course or to have validated 180 ECTS in a management science environment.

What are the professional skills developed with the Bachelor in Marketing, Communication & Events ?

The objectives in terms of skills are to be able to:

  • Block 1 – Participate in defining the company’s marketing strategy
  • Block 2 – Design and implement a marketing communication project
  • Block 3 – Define and manage the budgetary elements of a marketing and communication project
  • Block 4 – Leading a marketing communication team in project mode
  • Block 5 – Professionalization – Designing and implementing communication and event planning activities

This program delivers the certification ” Marketing Communication Project Manager” level 6 (EU) registered in the RNCP (Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles) under the code n°36293.

This certification is accessible by VAE.

The validation of the certification is obtained by the capitalization of four blocks of competences common to all the courses as well as a block of professionalization according to the course of the candidate .

What are the pedagogical methods of the INSEEC Bachelor program?

Teaching methods

Evaluation methods

The three years of the program alternate between concept acquisition and practical application.

Each semester is validated by the award of 30 ECTS credits. Progression through the Bachelor’s program is achieved by validating the semesters one after the other, i.e. 180 ECTS credits acquired at the end of the 3-year program. The evaluation of the students’ knowledge acquisition is done through continuous controls followed by mid-term and final evaluations at the end of each semester.

  • The evaluation methods are face-to-face, in the form of continuous assessment or final exams in the form of mid-term exams.

What are the tuition fees for the Marketing, Communication & Events program?

Initial training:

  • For a 3rd year Bachelor’s degree : 8 900 €.

Continuing education (sandwich course) :

  • For a 3rd year Bachelor’s degree: 9 700 €.
