The new La Villette campus has a surface area of more than 9,000m2, spread over 2 sites at Vellefaux in the 10th arrondissement and Quai de Seine in the 19th arrondissement. The Vellefaux 2 building, inaugurated on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, allowed for the creation of this brand new campus. The latter now welcomes students from INSEEC’s MSc and Grande École programs at the Vellefaux site and the Sup Career school at Quai de Seine. The creation of this new, more modern and attractive campus responds to the needs of students, faculty and staff to benefit from new, more modern and flexible work spaces.
The inauguration of the La Villette campus took place on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in the presence of students, companies, partners, teachers and school staff. Mathias EMMERICH, President of the OMNES Education Group, and Eric Algrain, First Deputy Mayor of the 10th arrondissement of Paris, cut the ribbon to inaugurate the new Vellefaux 2 building, which has enabled the creation of the La Villette campus.
In the pursuit of its development and its 5-year strategic plan presented in October 2021, the OMNES Education group acquired the former armory of the Paris police headquarters in 2020. This acquisition is a godsend because it is located in the immediate vicinity of the historic Parisian building of INSEEC’s Grande Ecole program on Avenue Claude Vellefaux.
In order to meet the current environmental and educational challenges, 14 months of work led by A26 Architectures were necessary to deliver this brand new building with an atypical style. The originality of the latter lies largely in its monumental space under a double glass roof dating from the 19th century, giving a resolutely “Eiffel” atmosphere appreciated by students.
Ce nouveau campus a été conçu pour l’expérience étudiante. Toute l’installation et l’architecture de ces locaux ont été pensées pour cette expérience.

Modern and modular equipment
The La Villette campus is a resolutely urban and Parisian campus. It offers new and comfortable services for our students in the heart of Paris. The campus is now a place of life, meetings and exchanges between students, school teams and stakeholders who cross paths and meet on the upper deck. Spaces have been decompartmentalized to facilitate pedagogical innovations and teamwork, and the Vellefaux 2 building now offers an enclosed co-working space below its now iconic dome.
The upper deck overlooked by the glass roof is the interior rooftop, a lounge area and a privileged meeting place. The building offers a cafeteria, 15 classrooms, an incubator, a trading room equipped by Bloomberg, an oenology area for the MSc Wine Marketing & Management and premises for student associations. In addition, the historic sites of Vellefaux and Quai de Seine already offer 40 classrooms, 2 amphitheaters and a Career Center. These choice facilities will contribute to the education of the 4500 French and international students on campus.
Claire SOUVIGNÉ, Director of the Bachelor and MSc & MBA INSEEC Paris, affirms the importance of the student experience at the heart of the design of this new campus: ” This new campus was designed for the student experience. The whole installation and the architecture of these premises were thought for this experience. “The choice of furniture was carefully considered. The furniture is easily moved to recreate the already open spaces according to the pedagogical and student needs. ” In particular, we have focused on the notion of teamwork by choosing not to integrate a new amphitheater, in favor of highly modular spaces where one can work alone or in groups with adapted furniture (mobile panels for sound insulation, chairs and tables on wheels, etc.). “she adds about the furniture.
Rationalization of the La Villette campus
Students from both INSEEC and Sup Career programs will now be able to create synergies between them. The association life and the Career Center will be common to all in order to stimulate meetings and the creation of a strong inter-school student community.
The sharing of certain courses is also being considered by the schools’ teaching teams. The rationalization of the Paris campuses of the OMNES Education group is now underway: from 10 sites in Paris for the 13 schools of the group, this number has now been reduced to 3 with Eiffel, our new La Villette campus and the opening of Coeur Défense planned for the beginning of the school year in September 2022.
