Since 2016, the DD&RS – Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility – labeling committee has awarded the Label to 27 higher education and research institutions. INSEEC Grande Ecole is proud to be awarded the renewal of its DD&RS label for the maximum duration of 4 years.
The label recognizes the commitment of institutions to sustainable development and social responsibility based on a common reference framework (CPU CGE SD&RS Reference Framework) covering five areas: Governance Strategy, Training and Education, Research Activities, Environmental Management, Social Policy and Territorial Anchoring.
The “SD&RS Label” is a system designed by peers and for peers to promote the Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility (SD&RS) approach of higher education and research institutions. At the national level, the “SD&RS Label” corresponds to the fourth priority of the 2013 Environmental Conference roadmap, which aims to “accelerate the transition to sustainable campuses” and to “set up corresponding labels”. At the international level, the “SD&RS Label” enables French higher education to position itself among the most advanced countries in response to the commitments made at the Rio+20 Conference: International Platform.
For Thomas ALLANIC, Dean of the School: “INSEEC Grande Ecole’s ambitious SD strategy represents an additional opportunity to increase its competencies, to concretize its actions in terms of CSR in a process of continuous improvement, and to show that it is aware of the economic but also environmental and societal challenges of the planet. Students, who are increasingly looking for training that prepares them for careers that give meaning to their lives, want to turn to schools and universities that act in favor of the 17 SDGs (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals).
The DDRS label, beyond the results, attests to the sincerity of an approach that is part of a continuous improvement process.
