The MSc1 Marketing students ofINSEEC U. Campus Chambéry had the chance to visit one of the biggest stadiums in France. And without a doubt one of the most beautiful!

The Groupama Stadium welcomed them in optimal conditions. The students had a fantastic day, both professionally and personally.

The morning was organized around 2 conferences. These took place in the most beautiful box of the stadium : the Groupama box.

First conference: meeting with Franck Rataj, in charge of the Groupama Rhône-Alpes Auvergne partnership.

Franck Rataj explained the partnership between Groupama and theO.L. This partnership is part of a very strong policy aimed at confirming the fact that Groupama is a player in the local economic fabric.

He also explained at length the history of the naming of the stadium dating from 2017, and its importance in their objective of notoriety. Numerous exchanges punctuated this very rich meeting.

Second conference: Jean-Baptiste Lantoine, B2B Marketing Manager of Olympique Lyonnais.

Jean-Baptiste Lantoine explained how the stadium works. In particular, the use of dressing rooms and their rental to companies.

The loyalty policy being at the heart of their strategy, he also explained at length the means put in place to retain their professional customers.

The students of INSEEC Campus Chambéry had the chance to have lunch at the Brasserie Bocuse, inside the stadium. This gave them a complete view of the consumer experience that B2B and B2C customers can have in this arena.

Then, they had the opportunity to take a full tour of the stadium. From the presidential box to the players’ locker room to the conference room, they had a comprehensive view of the architecture of this beautiful stadium.

This day allowed them to understand the functioning of a soccer stadium as organized as the Groupama Stadium, and to understand the importance of marketing levers in such an organization.
