Sports are an integral part of his life. After three years at CESNI in Chambéry, Romain Mahaut naturally continued in the MSc programs of INSEEC campus Chambéry for the MSc 1 International Management. He still has a foot in the sports world, as he is currently doing a work-study program at Scott Sports.
The stage is set. Sportsman at heart…
” Originally from Lyon and passionate about sports and mountains, I went to high school in the Pyrenees Orientales in Font-Romeu, a high level sports area. My three years of high school were therefore punctuated by sports (ski mountaineering in winter and trail running in summer) and studies. With a Baccalaureate S in his pocket “.
Romain then joined the CESNI in Chambéry.
” In order to stay in this dynamic and to continue to combine sports and studies, I entered CESNI in a DUT in marketing techniques (replaced by the Bachelor today). Last year, thanks to an opportunity at Mountain Hardwear, I did my third year in alternation with the Bachelor CPSS .
On this very good momentum, Romain saw himself logically continuing with an MSc program. He opted for the MSc 1 International Management, also on the Chambéry campus. And always in alternation !
” The three years spent at CESNI were based exclusively on sports. It is a sector in which I wish to work later on. Nevertheless, it seemed interesting to me for these two years of master to take a little height. And to open myself to a more generalist training. By making this choice, I can see more doors. And this program is taught exclusively in English !
” I appreciate the quality and experience of the INSEEC speakers “
Looking back, the student does not regret his choice.
” INSEEC, thanks to the quality and experience of its lecturers, brings me new knowledge in terms of management, strategy and marketing. I can also be more comfortable in an exclusively English-speaking environment. Moreover, since the master’s degree is a work-study program, it allows me to acquire both theoretical knowledge in the classroom and professional knowledge in the company.
What about his assignment as a Sales Support Assistant at Scott Sports?
” My mission is to support the sales team. I’m in charge of product training in stores and events. But also to take orders for restocking, as well as some pre-orders with presentation of the collection.
The student hopes to continue and trace his way in this sector that he likes so much. With Romain Mahaut, there is bound to be sport !
