The school year is coming to an end.
Our MSc 2 students fromINSEEC Campus Chambéry will soon close the ledger of their studies.
This is the case of Raphaël Maillot, in MSc 2 International Business Management on the Chambéry Campus. He will start his new job in September in Berlin.
He shares with us his journey and outlines the perspectives…
” I had a classical school career with a thorough study of the German language from the 6th grade at the Collège Jules Solesse in La Réunion. Then, I obtained my literary baccalaureate with honors at the Lycée Louis Payen in Saint-Paul. Always with European German option”, presents Raphaël.
” Then I had the opportunity to travel. I spent a year in Quebec right after graduating from Cegep de Baie-Comeau. There I studied special education techniques. Unfortunately, I realized that this was neither my field nor my vocation… “
Back to the ” country “, then.
” I came back to Reunion. I did a year at the University of Reunion in LLCE German. Then, thanks to my parents, I decided to take a competitive examination to enter the School of Management and Commerce of Reunion Island. I was accepted into this school. I was able to complete several internships that were decisive for the rest of my career, including a three-month internship at KARE-DESIGN in Munich, where I helped the export team for France. ”
Before joining INSEEC, in Savoie.
” After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business and Marketing, I decided to continue my academic studies while keeping my attraction for the international world. “
He will soon join Berlin !
” I knew that these two years in Full English(MSc 1 International Marketing and MSc 2 International Business Management) would give me a knowledge and mastery of Business English that would be more than satisfactory for my future projects. I would like to be able to link and even solidify commercial relations between France and other countries, especially German-speaking ones, continues the student.
Raphaël completed his work-study program as a project manager at Mercialys, the Casino Group’s real estate company.
” Within Mercialys, my mission was to develop ephemeral shops in shopping malls, at Géant in Annecy and Géant in Annemasse. I was also in charge of setting up several activities and projects aimed at strengthening the commercial attractiveness of the center in the face of the present competition.
” My new position will be that of business development manager in Germany for the French company Pébéo “, concludes Raphaël, while detailing his future missions :
” I am going to Berlin, Germany, as an international volunteer for the company Pébéo. I will have to develop the sales of the products, in particular within the large specialized surfaces. I will also take care of the development of the brand on the German-speaking territory, both on digital and physical networks. “
