1. Be aware of the periphery while aiming for a specific project
In a rapidly changing world, marketing managers are advised to be vigilant. Their role is not limited to keeping up to date with what’s new in their sector, they must be open to different sectors and activities that can help the brand grow. Managers are used to being so immersed in a project that they forget to pay attention to their overall environment.
2. Opening up culturally to better manage internal and external communication
Multicultural flexibility is a must in the marketing world. Multicultural flexibility does not only imply being open to cultural differences between countries, but also being able to understand the company’s culture. This aspect of multiculturalism is characterized by the understanding of the functioning of the different departments of a company and their interactions. This understanding is vital for all types of internal and external communication in the workplace. Several recent studies on management show that for a company’s strategic success, communication between different departments, and between management and employees, remains vital.
3. Turn criticism to your advantage
Critics are always there in every corner to demotivate you and show you all the things that can’t work. You can’t do anything to erase these people, but you can use their criticism to further your goals/ideas. It is important to analyze the criticisms and then let go if there is no impact on the strategy and direction of the company.
