For several years, students in the INSEEC Bachelor program have benefited from the partnership between the school and the NICOLAS brand.
The French wine merchant NICOLAS has once again renewed its confidence in theINSEEC Bachelor. For the past few years, NICOLAS has been recruiting students from the program for a highly formative commercial internship.
During the summer period, the selected students will replace the managers of the company, after a training. They must manage, in complete autonomy, the commercial animation and the management of the store.
Juliette Pialat, class of 2015, completed this internship during her second year. She tells us about her experience:
“I did my internship in the store in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. I had to manage the store’s inventory by placing orders directly at the warehouse. I targeted my sales and directed my customers according to these stocks. I also had to keep the store clean, manage the accounting and merchandising. I was in charge of opening and closing the store, along with closing the cash register. My biggest mission was to manage the clientele: I had to be smiling and advise my customers to the best of my ability so that they could leave satisfied!
I chose this internship because I have been interested in oenology since I was a child – my grandparents were winegrowers in the Dordogne. The salary was also motivating!
This internship was a great experience for me! I recommend it to all students who are hesitant to try it. It made me more responsible and assiduous. I developed technical skills (management, accounting…) but also human skills. My managers passed on their knowledge to me in a good mood and the contact with the customers was very positive!”
