Robin Calmand is a student in his 2nd year of Sport Etudes at Inseec U in Chambéry. A long time competitive cyclist, he may well turn to tennis. Even if his main objective today is to prepare his future.
Sport-études was a clear path for Robin. He was part of the hopes of the club Chambéry Cycling Competition. Wishing to pursue his studies and continue cycling at the same time, CESNI opened the way for him to combine business school and training.
It was a perfect fit,” says the young man. Even if I finally stopped cycling 4 months ago. I was more focused on competition and racing. And with the crisis, there was nothing left but training. I was not satisfied with my results anymore. So I really started to work on my professional projects.
“Positive Students”: the online club that allows students to create their network
One of these projects is on the “Clubhouse” application with the goal of helping students. With his brother and two young Parisian women they met on the app, they created the “positive students” club*. And rooms where creators, startupers, entrepreneurs and students discuss, only in audio.
The rooms are open several times a week, between 1 and 1.5 hours, with themes during which we launch debates,” he explains. My brother wanted to create a podcast, and I wanted to develop on social networks. When this brand new app came out in France, we said to ourselves that it was the opportunity to create a big community.
Both the club and the rooms are open to everyone, although Robin admits that it is mainly aimed at students.
Today, 700 people belong to their club. A good way, free and non-profit, to network!
