On the Paris campus, first-year students began the year with an original seminar. A look back at a first week full of emotions.
Originally from the United States, Robert Bradford, head of the Languages & Methods department atINSEEC Bachelor, was inspired by basic Anglo-Saxon practices to organize this seminar. In the United Kingdom, Australia and North America, students usually bring(Show) and present(Tell) an object to the class each week.
Far from a traditional seminar, our students practiced public speaking.
The objective? Gain confidence, get familiar with the “business school” spirit (presentation of a project, teamwork, organization, etc.) and of course get to know the other students in their class.
For this seminar, Mr. Bradford was surrounded by two coaches: Bill Moore (professor of International Business Ethics for the INSEEC Bachelor) and Nicolas Lartigue (photographer, director and producer).
Divided into teams, coached by one of the speakers, the students had only a few days to present their final project in the form of a video, a photo montage or a song.
The best teams, selected by the coaches, presented their project, in a good mood, in front of the final jury and all their friends.
The week ended with a day at Parc Astérix with all the students of the school and the INSEEC Group!
We welcome our 1st year students and wish them a successful year!
