In the first year, the “Prospecting Techniques” seminar is one of the highlights of the fall semester. This subject is approached in a way that pedagogical by proposing to the students to discover what is a catchment area, a targeting, a prospecting file, a presentation and sales methodology, etc. Prospecting is theprimary function of the sales profession. It covers all actions aimed at identifying and contacting potential new customers and seeking to transform them into real customers (prospecting-sales).
At the end of November, nearly 400 boxes, each containing as many papillotes, were unloaded in the school and were apprehended in “store” mode by the 95 first-year Bachelors. Bagging, stock management, collection orders, organization of sales teams (including election of field “sales managers”): Friday 30 at 4 pm, everything was in place to launch two intense days of application in the field!
An action with charitable virtue
Based on the humanitarian projects of the Rotary Club of Challes-les-Eaux, this matter was to allow a collection of funds for the children of the small village of M’Hamid El Ghizlanein the province of Zagora, at the gates of the Moroccan desert. In two days and some dust, the 95 students have collected more than 26 000 euros of sales! It is under warm and long applause that Kilian, Ségolène, Aubin, Alizée, Laurie and Moufdi, all six elegantly dressed to represent their friends, were received at the Château de Candie to give 11,000 euros of benefits to their charity action.
Bravo B1, you were fantastic! And thanks to the four student volunteers who, the next day, entered about three hundred sales invoices to complete the material :-).
