A 1, 2 or 3 year diploma course to specialise in marketing, communicationand product development

Holders of a BAC can enter the 1st year Bachelor, holders of a BAC+1 the 2nd year Bachelor and those with a BAC+2 the 3rd year Bachelor. The Bachelor’s degree can accommodate students from various backgrounds: BTS, RNCP level 5, DUT, preparatory class, Licence 2.

The Marketing, Communication & Development Bachelor’s degree provides future professionals and SME managers with the skills they need to manage employees. Thus, they will be able to assist them on the one hand, and on the other, to develop the company’s commercial axes; to understand all aspects of marketing, management and sales and to be able to build a strategy adapted to the product; to develop the necessary skills to become the managers of tomorrow.

At the end of this course, students will be able to manage a marketing project, analyse consumer trends, know how to sell and present a product or service, manage business development and understand and navigate the competitive world of e-commerce.

Students will also be able to complete the 3rd year programme in a sandwich course. They will be able to perfect their training by putting their knowledge into practice in real-life situations in companies.

This module provides a relevant current vision of business models that work on the Internet or in “brick and mortar”. This module also presents the main tools and techniques to launch or develop a web presence in terms of e-commerce and social commerce.

Retailing mix 3.0

Pricing policy, communication policy, retailing and merchandising strategies are studied through the prism of digital and new consumer paths.

Strategic management and financial management

A marketing and development manager needs to understand the fundamentals of strategy and management in order to be able to interact and collaborate with all departments in the company. He/she will often have to co-construct or implement the strategy decided by the management or the department concerned; he/she must therefore be able to read a balance sheet, propose a budget, read a contract, know the basics of labour law, etc. in order to be an efficient manager.

Design and graphic charter

This module allows you to discover tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for digital marketing. These tools help to improve the impact of campaigns conducted on the Internet and online social networks. They also allow to improve the graphic charter and the image of the company in general (logo, visual identity, editorial line at the visual level, etc).

Marketing

The fundamentals of marketing will be covered with its concepts, principles and specificities. The particular management of large accounts, project management and the complexity of sales are among the elements that will be acquired.

Commercial presentation and reporting

A manager must know the tools and techniques to convince, to make adhere and thus to be more able to work in team. This module provides the keys to convincing written and oral presentations of business reports from a professional perspective.

Consumer behaviour

The module aims to master the consumer decision process as well as the influences and actions that consumers take when purchasing a product.

This module allows you to discover and deepen all the marketing techniques related to the creation and marketing of services


1 or 2 entries per year and an alternating study rhythm

The start of the new academic year for 3rd year Bachelors takes place in September. Some campuses also offer a staggered start in February.

The course rhythm is 3 days/2 days for 6 months and then 6 months full time in a company.

This rhythm is the same whether the learner is in initial training (internship) or in continuing education (professionalization/apprenticeship).

What are the prerequisites to enter the Bachelor program?

  • To enter the first year, you must hold a baccalaureate (all sections) or a Diplôme d’Accès aux Études Universitaires (DAEU), recognized as level 4;
  • For integration into the second year: it is necessary to have validated 60 ECTS in a sector considered to be identical in terms of competencies to that of the course or to have validated 120 ECTS in a management science environment;
  • For integration into the third year: it is necessary to have validated a 120 ECTS or a level 5 in a sector considered to be identical in terms of competencies to that of the course or to have validated 180 ECTS in a management science environment.

The objectives in terms of skills are to be able to:

  • Block 1 – Participate in defining the company’s marketing strategy
  • Block 2 – Design and implement a marketing communication project
  • Block 3 – Define and manage the budgetary elements of a marketing and communication project
  • Block 4 – Leading a marketing communication team in project mode
  • Block 5 – Professionalization – Designing the development of a product

This program delivers the certification ” Marketing Communication Project Manager” level 6 (EU) registered in the RNCP (Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles) under the code n°36293.

The validation of the certification is obtained by the capitalization of four blocks of competences common to all the courses as well as a block of professionalization according to the course of the candidate. .

What are the pedagogical methods of the INSEEC Bachelor program?

Teaching methods

Evaluation methods

The three years of the program alternate between concept acquisition and practical application.

Each semester is validated by the award of 30 ECTS credits. Progression through the Bachelor’s program is achieved by validating the semesters one after the other, i.e. 180 ECTS credits acquired at the end of the 3-year program. The evaluation of the students’ knowledge acquisition is done through continuous controls followed by mid-term and final evaluations at the end of each semester.

  • The evaluation methods are face-to-face, in the form of continuous assessment or final exams in the form of mid-term exams.

What are the tuition fees for the Marketing, Communication & Events program?
